My cousin has just had a beautiful new daughter who has unfortunately has been born with a dairy allergy that is so sensitive that even when her mother eats dairy then feeds her she comes out in a rash. My cousin has told me a couple of times now that she has been finding it difficult to find the right food to eat that will give her enough energy but not have an impact on her daughter. I have decided to try out a few dairy free recipes to help her along and I have started with breakfast. Made with both almond milk and almond butter this porridge will give you a massive hit of protein in the morning. Filled with blueberries, pomegranates and freshly grated coconut you will have enough antioxidants in your system to keep you fit for the rest of the week. Finished with acacia honey your body really will not need for anything.

50g porridge oats

250ml almond milk

1tsp almond butter

25g pomegranate seeds

50g blueberries

20g freshly grated coconut

1tblsp acacia honey

Put the oats, almond milk and almond butter inn a bowl and give it a good mix, microwave for 3-4 minuets then fold in all the other ingredients
